The Landscape Architects' Expo (LA Expo), a two-day regional trade show, and educational conference for landscape architects, specifiers and designers, has announced the 2014 Open Panel discussion, Rethinking America's Streets by MIG. Based on a two-year research effort by the National Endowment for the Arts, this session will explore additional functions and forms of multifunctional and well-designed streets. Attendees will learn the role of streets in social gathering, commerce, events and programs, play and recreation, urban agriculture, wayfinding, green infrastructure, and image and identity. The Open Panel discussion will take place on Thursday, February 13th at 12:15 pm in the back of the expo hall. Although this is a FREE session it is suggested that attendees pre-register at the LA Expo - Educational Programs webpage.
