Course Description
Putting together a clean and organized document with pictures and text for presentation, display or communication through InDesign is only a few clicks away. InDesign is one of the leading desktop publishing applications due to its inclusion in the extremely popular Photoshop Creative Suite package. This workshop will be an introductory level class for creating a multi-page document, setting up master pages, inserting text and images, updating image changes, and utilizing some of the more creative aspects of InDesign for logo development and image/text manipulation. Basic computer skills are preferred. This is a hands-on workshop although you are welcome to come and receive the lecture handout and materials, watch the demo and go through it on your own time. If you plan to follow along during the lecture go ahead and download InDesign or Photoshop CS (any version is fine) and bring a laptop, mouse and power cord.
