Course Description
We all recognize that storm water management rules and regulations include requirements relative to sediment, nutrients, other pollutants, bacteria, heavy metals, infiltration, flow attenuation, temperature, etc. , but how many of us fully understand why? And perhaps more importantly, how important it is to manage for these items? This presentation will help participants better understand these causal relationships and the basis for storm water management rules and regulations that will help them become more knowledgeable about storm water in general, and/or help them become more effective in the design and implementation of storm water management systems.
