Course Description
What better way to learn about great bike facilities than going for a ride and talking with a skilled practitioner? Charlie Gandy is a renowned specialist in bike and pedestrian design and leads a fun and educational tour of Long Beach's award winning bike lanes, trails, separated bikeways and sharrows. He shares the secrets of planning, design, funding and public involvement of these projects while leading his group of riders to experience each one personally. Each tour is tailored to the interests of the group and usually last from 1 to 3 hours. Bikestation is the starting point and offers rental bikes.
