Course Description
Bay-Friendly Landscape Design is a systematic approach to designing and managing vibrant landscapes that conserve natural resources, reduce waste and pollution, and provide wildlife habitat. Developed in the Bay Area but easily implementable anywhere, the Bay-Friendly approach is flexible and can be adapted to suit a variety of styles and scales, from residential properties to corporate and institutional campuses and urban parks. This session will cover the core principles of the Bay-Friendly approach and will also include cutting edge sustainable design, creative habitat integrated approaches and maintenance practices that will help you set yourselves apart as leaders in providing sustainable landscape solutions.
