![]() ![]() This is a formal invitation to share your knowledge and expertise by presenting a seminar or workshop at the 2014 Landscape Architects' Expo (LA Expo) to be held February 13th - 14th, 2014 at the Long Beach Convention Center, Long Beach, California.
LASN Expo Seminar/Workshop Submittal Guidelines To Submit your Prospectus: Please send your seminar proposal in either .docx or PDF format, include your seminar title and a paragraph describing the course with learning objectives. Include a resume, a brief biography with professional accomplishments and degrees, a color headshot image (this does not need to be professionally done, but needs to be at least 500 pixels) and any travel or honorarium requirements. The deadline is Wednesday, July 31st. Each session should be 1.5 hours in length, but we recommend covering content for approximately 80 minutes to allow for 10 minutes of valuable Q & A. You can submit a request to speak on these topics or any topic you feel might be of interest to landscape architects, designers and commercial specifiers. Selection Process: After you have submitted your seminar proposal you will receive a confirmation receipt and our reviewing process will begin. The notification process will begin the second week of September and you will hear from us either way.

educational programs ![]() The 2014 Landscape Architects' Expo (LA Expo), now in its third year will host nearly 30 CEU approved seminars. Additionally, accreditation from the ISA will be added, as many landscape architects are certified arborists as well. Attendees can expect to see a strong sustainable track, including courses "Lighting Design for the Dark-Sky" and "Rainwater Harvesting". Other tracks include arbor, business management, public welfare, urban planning and water management. Be on the lookout for updated educational program information. |
